I built 3 hedgehog houses similar in design to those sold by https://www.riversidewoodcraft.co.uk/hedgehog-houses/

I made a feeding station from driveway blocks and roofing felt covered plywood. It has 2 entrances to allow escape when hogs meet and argue over the food. I feed them Smilla kitten food only as wild animal food is not regulated. It has all they need and is cheaper than typical hedgehog food. Always with fresh water daily. I use Apeman, Victure, WiMiUs and Ring cameras which cover each house & the feeding station. Our garden is only small with lawn and flower borders but with gaps in the fences to allow hogs access. I plant pollinator friendly plants to encourage a natural food supply for the hogs. We live on a large housing estate next to a wild area which covers a reservoir where foxes also live.
